George Kadifa
Mr. Kadifa is a member of the ORSYP advisory board. He has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector with a great depth of experience in the software industry.
Today, Mr. Kadifa is a Senior Advisor at Silver Lake, a private American investment firm with a focus in technology related industries. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Mr. Kadifa held several executive level positions including Vice President of Global Delivery at IBM Global Technology Services, Chairman and CEO of Corio, a Kleiner Perkins-backed company, and Senior Vice President of the Industrial Sector at Oracle.
At Oracle, under Mr. Kadifa’s leadership, the Industrial Sector became Oracle’s largest and most profitable vertical. Prior, he served as a consultant with Booz-Allen & Hamilton working with Fortune 500 companies. His other experiences include Xerox, where he was awarded the Xerox Inventor award, and attributed two US patents related to software. Mr. Kadifa started his career on the research staff at Fairchild Semiconductor.
He holds a B.S. degree from the American University of Beirut, an M.S. degree from the California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
