Louis Godron
Mr. Godron is the chairman of ORSYP’s advisory board. As a Senior Partner of Argos Soditic, Mr. Godron was a key contributor in the MBO transaction of ORSYP in 2007.
Mr. Godron joined Argos Soditic in 1991 and is based in the firm's Paris office. While he has led numerous transactions with Argos Soditic, he has accumulated significant experience and developed an important network in the branded sporting goods field where Argos Soditic has led a number of investments and is recognized as the lead investor in the market.
Previously, Mr. Godron worked for ‘Initiative et Finance’ (a leading French private equity firm focusing on small companies) where he began his association with Gilles Mougenot. In his two years with them, he was responsible for several transactions and assisted in the syndication of numerous management buy-outs and buy-ins. Prior to that, he spent two years with Elf Aquitaine in Geneva trading on the oil futures market.
Mr. Godron is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Engineering School (Paris).
